OK I agree on Hendrix and SRV (how did I forget him, great blues!)

I don't agree on Van Halen or Page. Jimmy Page never really came up with anything outstandingly his own (eg David Gilmour Comfortably Numb solo) Van Halen was just a shredder. Anyone can do that.

Clapton, the jury is out for me, I'm not convinced, but I know a lot of folks like him.

Anyway I could probably find another 5 so the list isn't definitive.
